June Glover Lambert, 78, of Charleston, SC, wife of Cecil Ray Lambert entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, March 15, 2015 in Grace United Methodist Church, 1601 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 .p.m until the time of service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. June was born May 23, 1936 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Francis Lee Glover and the late Ethel Meyer Glover. She lived 20 wonderful years on John's Island before moving to Charleston where she married Cecil Ray Lambert with whom she shared 59 happy years. She enjoyed her work and co-workers for 38 years at Charleston Naval Shipyard and SPAWAR. June was a member of Grace United Methodist Church or over 50 years.
She is survived by her wonderful husband, Cecil Ray Lambert of Charleston, SC devoted daughters, Tammy Lambert Bair, and Angela Lambert West (Rick); loving grandson, Christopher Michael Bair; her angel-like sister, Anne Glover Schaffer; sister-in-law's, Evelyn S. Glover, and Ada A. Glover.
She was predeceased in death by her father and mother, Francis Lee and Ethel Meyer Glover, brothers Francis, Harold and Arthur Glover, brother-in-law, Frederick Schaffer, sister-in-law Sara Todd, mother and father-in-law Arthur and Mattie Lambert.
