June Conrad Carter, 79, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Anita Maria Kopka Carter died Tuesday, January 10, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd. at 12:00 a.m. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the Mount Pleasant Chapel one hour prior to the service.
June was born September 27, 1937 in Thomasville, North Carolina, son of the late Marcellus and Minnie Beck Carter. He served in the U.S. Army and retired as an Architectural Illustrator.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anita Kopka Carter of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two sons, Rodney Carter of Charlotte, NC and Bryan Carter (Brenda) of Lexington, NC; and three grandchildren.
