Julius "Bubba" Clarence Metts III, 54, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Amanda "Amy" Bowdoin Metts entered into eternal rest Monday, May 20, 2024. His funeral service will be held Tuesday,May 28, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 10:00 am.  Interment, Metts Cemetery, Branchville, SC at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends Monday, May 27, 2024 in the Northwoods Chapel from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. 

Bubba was born November 17, 1969 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Julius C. Metts, Jr. and Joy Knowlton Metts. He was a an employee with Hometeam BBQ, Sullivan's Island. 

Bubba is survived by his wife of 13 years, Amy; parents: Julius and Joy Metts of N. Charleston, SC; son, Zac Metts (Brianna) of Sugar Hill, GA; grandson, Wyatt Bowen; siblings: Elaine Farmer (Derek) of N. Charleston, SC, Tina Scott (Bruce) of Palm Coast, FL, Jeannie Ottinger, Terry Grammer both of N. Charleston, SC, Missy Campbell of Goose Creek, SC; and Joey Criscione of N. Charleston, SC; and in-laws: Gerry and Delaine Van de Kamp.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Berkeley County Animal Center, 131 Central Berkeley Drive, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
