Julio Valentino "Val" Denning

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of February 11, 2012, Julio Valentino "Val" Denning, Jr., 67, husband of Judy Scott Denning. Residence, Eastover, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Julio V. Denning, Jr. are invited to attend the graveside funeral services of the former in Christ St. Paul's Episcopal Churchyard on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 1 pm. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC 29414 on Wednesday between 5pm and 7pm.

Mr. Denning was born on December 22, 1944 in Miami Beach, Florida the son of Julio Valentino Denning, Sr. and Bevia Harrell Denning. He attended The Citadel and was a Vietnam War veteran in the US Air Force. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Scott Denning of Eastover, SC; his mother of Atlanta, GA; his children Jonathan, Angela, Rachel and Lori Denning; a sister Donna Denning; two brothers Eddie and Arthur Denning; and a grandson Tyler.
