Entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 22, 2010, Julian Allen Wells, husband of Nancy Owen Taylor Farley Wells.  Residence, Charleston, South Carolina.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Wells are invited to attend his funeral services at Westminster Presbyterian Church Friday, November 26, 2010, at two o'clock.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Friday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1157 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., from twelve-thirty until one-thirty o'clock.  Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.


Mr. Wells was born on January 19, 1936 in Cherryville, North Carolina, son of the late Carl Wells and the late Helen Morrow Wells.  He was a retired Planner and Estimator with the Charleston Naval Shipyard, a lifetime member of St. Andrews Masonic Lodge #367 AFM and Elks Lodge #242 B.P.O.E., and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. 


Surviving are his wife Nancy of Charleston; son, Michael Allen Wells (Cindy) of Charleston; daughter, Lynda Lee Whitworth of Charleston; two step sons, John Taylor (Susanne) of Culpeper, VA, David Taylor (Karen) of Warrenton, VA; five grandchildren, Tara Lee Heise (Jonas), Dena Elise Hernandez (Dan), Michael Francis Wells, Cindy Leigh Stone (Jeffrey), and Jennifer Fernandez; two step grandchildren, Allison Taylor and  Lauren Taylor; seven great grandchildren, Kayla Elise Heise, Jonas Heise, Jr., baby girl Heise, Emil Hernandez, Christian Hernandez, Grayson Stone, and Parker Stone; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Daisy.  Mr. Wells was formerly married to Donna Brinson Wells of Charleston. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother and is also survived by a sister-in-law, Juanaita Wells.
