Julian "Jody" Harvey Tanner, Jr. , 61, of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, husband of Patricia "Patti" Bernadette Tanner, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 27, 2025. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2025 in St. Mark United Methodist Church, 413 Geddes Ave. at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 10:00 am to the time of service in St. Mark United Methodist Church. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Jody was born June 28, 1964 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Julian Harvey Tanner, Sr. and Meredith Stephens Tanner. He was a Long Line Fisherman. His hobbies included cooking, cornhole, golf, and watching any kind of sport. He loved spending time with friends and family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jessica M. Felder (Maurice); two sons, Jonathan Maddox, Stephen Maddox; his three sisters, Cynthia T. Dix (Danny) , Karen T. Brown (Louie) , Kathie Christiansen (John) ; a brother, Mark (Beth) Tanner; three grandchildren, MJ Felder, Caillou Felder, and Jayden Felder.
