Julian Irvin Meyer, 77, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, January 4, 2021. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Irvin was born August 18, 1943 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Julian Meyer and the late Mary Auvil Meyer. He was a Service Technician and retired from NCR. Irvin was known as "Opa" and PaPa to his grandchildren. He loved NASCAR and enjoyed cheering as an avid fan for the South Carolina Gamecocks. He also served in the South Carolina Army National Guard and received the General Mark W. Clark Award for excellence.
He is survived by former wife, Nancy Jenkins Meyer of North Charleston, SC; son, Brian "Craig" Meyer (Heather) of Smithsburg, MD; two daughters, Marla Campbell (Billy) of Goose Creek, SC, Paula Meyer of Hanahan, SC; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and beloved dog Molly. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Ellen Meyer, father, Julian Meyer, mother, Mary Meyer, brother, Bill Meyer, and grandson, Gordon Turner Meyer.
