Julia Mae Mason, 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 25, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, April 28, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr West Ashley Chapel.

Julia was born November 14, 1928 in Lakeview, South Carolina, daughter of the late Isom Ford and Bernice Richardson Ford. She was a loving mother, homemaker, a member of Ashley River Baptist Church and the Daughters of the Nile.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Mason (Linda) of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Catherine Mizell (David) of Woodbine, GA, and Priscilla Willcutt (Jimmy) of Summerville, SC; three brothers, A.B. Ford of Petersburg, VA, Carlisle Ford of Prince George, VA, and Billy Ford of Chesterfield County, VA; sister, Edna Weber of Goldsboro NC; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
