Julia Gready Rowland Frazier, 53, of Prosperity, South Carolina, wife of John Rhett Frazier III, transitioned from the physical into the spiritual world following a brief illness on Saturday, July 23, 2022. Her memorial service will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 at J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 3:30 p.m. The family will receive friends in J. Henry Stuhr Inc, Mount Pleasant Chapel from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Interment will be private at a later date at Christ Church Cemetery.
Gready was born April 13,1969 in Charleston, South Carolina, the daughter of Theodore Anthony Rowland Jr. and Julia Ann Foster Rowland. She graduated from Bishop England and then attended the University of South Carolina from 1987-1989. Gready had a great wit and humor and was one of a kind and would always tell you like it was. Her children were the most important thing in her life. She was very loyal to all her friends. She enjoyed listening to music and attending many live music concerts around the world. Her hobbies included arranging flowers, traveling with her family, and attending Clemson Football games. Gready was raised in Mt. Pleasant and loved boating and fishing on both salt and fresh water. She was a Real Estate Broker, and in her earlier career, she was a teacher's aid at Ashley Hall and a teacher at Awendaw Head Start.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, John Rhett Frazier III of Prosperity, SC; parents: Theodore Anthony Rowland Jr. and Julia Ann Rowland of McClellanville, SC; children: John Rhett Frazier IV (Hannah) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Riley Martine Frazier of Charlotte, NC, and Lockwood McCants Frazier of Prosperity, SC; two siblings: Ann Martine Rowland Concannon (James) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Theodore "Andy" Anthony Rowland III (Lori) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; The family would like to say a special thanks to Gready’s two dear friends: Mary C. Zard and Debbie S. Kelly who supported her and her family during her brief illness.
