Julia T. Droze

Julia "Julie" Truett Droze, 75, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, wife of Errol A Droze died December 9, 2017. Her graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.Julie was born March 6, 1942 in Savannah, Georgia, daughter of Gladys Priester Truett and the late James D. Truett, Jr. She was active in the community and served as secretary for the Charleston Women's Bowling Association and as a volunteer for a youth bowling organization in Goose Creek. For many years she helped with Special Olympics. She was also a member of Starcraft Campers Club and the VFW Post 5091 Ladies Auxiliary. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 48 years, Errol; daughter, Sheryl Robinson (Gene); three grandchildren: Karson Robinson, Kaitland Mullins (Jay), Joshua Brown, all of Goose Creek; mother Gladys Truett of Summerville; and one great-grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her brother, James D. Truett III.Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of ones choice.
