Julia Narcissus Hays Churchill, 92, of West Ashley, South Carolina, widow of Herbert M. Churchill entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 30, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Julia was born December 30, 1925 in Hoxie, Arkansas, daughter of the late Abe L. Hays and Clara South Hays. She enjoyed walking and visiting with her grandchildren.She is survived by her three daughters, Carolyn C. McKnight (Henry) of Summerville, SC, Teresa C. Perry (Ralph) of Charleston, SC, and Connie C. Perry (David) of Bonneau, SC; son, James D. Churchill (Dianne) of James Island, SC; brother, Samuel D. Hays Pottsboro, TX; nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Herbert M. Churchill, Jr., sisters, Louise Buckley, Rosie H. Ramey and four brothers, Charles Hays, George E. Hays, Virgil D. Hays, and Wilburn D. Hays.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Agape Hospice of the Low Country, 9301 Medical Plaza Drive, Charleston, SC, 29406.
