Judy Rooker, 58, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Senior Chief Robert B. Rooker, USN entered into eternal rest Thursday June 27, 2013. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced later in Townville, SC and Tampa, FL. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.
Judy was born May 10, 1955 in Tampa, Florida, daughter of Curtis D. Vaughan and Ruth Byrd Vaughan. She was an office manager in graphic design.
She is survived by her sister, Sharon Vaughan; two brothers, David Vaughan and Russell Vaughan of Tampa FL; four nieces, Ava Kane, Emma Kane, Lacey Simmons, Haley Maddage (Joseph), three nephews, Brian Kane (Carrie), Brance Kane (Patricia) and Jacob Kane; her aunt, Lottie of Tampa, FL. There are additional grand nieces, nephews, many loving cousins, incredible friends and her loyal and loving beagle, Sassy.
In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, Charleston, SC 29406 and/or Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Road, Charleston SC 29412.
