Judy Ann Wadsworth Brittain

Judy Ann Wadsworth Brittain, 72, of Summerville, South Carolina, wife of James Farrell Brittain, entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 19, 2023.  Her graveside service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.
 
Judy was born September 8, 1950 in Greenville, North Carolina, daughter of Charles Wadsworth and Edith Dunlop Wadsworth. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a double major in Biology and Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics, as well as, a Master's Degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Once married, Judy and Farrell owned and operated Riveredge Auto Parts Store where she was the secretary/treasurer until her retirement. Judy was a loving wife and the best mother any child could ever want. She was a grace-filled Christian and member of St. Andrews Parish United Methodist Church. 
 
Judy is survived by her husband of 46 years, Farrell; two children: son, Darren Christopher Brittain (Ashley); daughter, Christie Ann Campbell (Brent); sister, Jane Thornton (Henry); brother, Thomas Wadsworth (Judy); and four grandchildren: Caroline Campbell, Chloe Campbell, Chandler Campbell, and Callum Campbell. She is predeceased by her parents; and brothers: James Wadsworth (Clarice) and Robert Wadsworth (Wanda).
