Judith Penninger Swindell, 65, of North Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Keith M. Swindell died Sunday, August 21, 2016. Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 4:00 p.m.

Judy was born October 26, 1950, daughter of Walter "Boots" Floyd Penninger and Theresa Ward Penninger. She was a teacher, a commercial fisher, a manager and most of all a wonderful mother and wife.

In addition to her husband, Keith, she is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Swindell; sister, Gloria Penninger Welch; two brothers: Thomas Ward Penninger and Walter "Dub" Floyd Penninger IV; and her great aunt, Barbara P. Leviner.
