Judith Kaye Petit, 61, of James Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, June 21, 2013. Her funeral service will be held Monday, June 24, 2013 in St. Barnabas Lutheran Church, 45 Moultrie Street, at 2:00 p.m. Interment, private. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.

Kaye was born March 24, 1952 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Francis W. Petit, Jr. and Juanita Worthington Petit Jones. She graduated from St. Andrew's High School. She was a member of St. Barnabas Lutheran Church and the Charleston Rifle Club, Ladies Auxiliary. She worked with the Margaret Fabri Law Firm as a paralegal. She enjoyed visiting Eleuthera, Bahamas.

She is survived by her mother, Juanita Worthington Petit Jones, daughter, Shannon M. Morris and her brother, Francis W. "Buddy" Petit, III, all of James Island, SC.
