Judith G. Duke, 81, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Judith was born on January 29, 1945, in Westbury, New York, the beloved daughter of the late Henry and Constance Gerhold.

While Judith enjoyed her career as a cosmetologist, it was her love for cooking, gardening, and the beach brought joy to her life and those around her. Her nurturing spirit and passion for nature will be fondly remembered. She is survived by her cherished children: Richard Dejonghe, Thomas A. Dejonghe, and Jill M. See, all of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Elaine Daviduk (Tony) of Butler, PA.

She joins in rest, her parents and brother, Harold Gerhold.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 1:00 pm at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, with interment following at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the chapel an hour prior to the service.
