Dr. Judith E. DelliColli, 72, of Hanahan, SC, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Her memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in the St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 1150 East Montague Avenue at 11:00 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.
Dr. DelliColli was born May 24, 1945 in Boston, MA, daughter of the late Joseph Andrew Maloney and the late Eleanor Barry Maloney. She earned her bachelor's degree from State University of New York at Oswego and her Doctorate of Education from the University of South Carolina. Her career began as a classroom teacher and she retired as Director of Staff Development with the Berkeley County School District; she was an adjunct professor at the College of Charleston. As an advocate for women and children's issues, she promoted education for young people and was a member of the professional education sororities.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Humbert T. DelliColli of Hanahan, SC; daughter, Kristen DelliColli of Goose Creek, SC; brother, Joseph A. Maloney (Lise) of Cary, NC; sister, Susan Isham (Christopher) of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren, John "Jack" Taylor III and Benjamin Taylor both of Goose Creek, SC.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
