Judith "Judy" Minnis Brock, 84, passed away peacefully at her home in Charleston, SC, on Monday, February 17, 2025. Her Graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Avenue at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Judith was born August 8, 1940 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Albert Edwin Minnis and Iona Catherine Welcker Minnis. After attending St. Andrews High School, she earned a certification as a dental assistant. Later Judy worked at Edwards and Brock, her husbands oral surgery practice.

She loved gardening, cooking, woodworking, needlework and quilting. Judy was a member of the John Wesley United Methodist Church. 

She is survived by her two nephews, Raymond Minnis, Roland W. Minnis; sister-in-law, Karen Minnis, and her King Charles Cavalier spaniel, Abby.

Judy was predeceased by her parents; husband, Richard T. Brock; brother, Ray Minnis; brother, Jimmy Minnis; and cousins, Ed and Peggy Minnis Rugheimer.
