Juanita "Honey" Parker Rogers, 73, of Goose Creek, SC, died Thursday, December 22, 2016. Her memorial service will be held Monday, December 26, 2016 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 3:00 pm.

Juanita was born August 8, 1943 in Barrineau, SC, daughter of the late Richard "Son" Parker and the late Elizabeth "Lizzie" Conyers Parker. Juanita touched the lives of so many children in the community via her profession as a daycare operator. Her tireless efforts helped to raise generations of children by showing the importance of love, structure, and discipline. Her generous spirit overflowed and graced the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Brian D. Rogers of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Heather Cong of Goose Creek, SC and Lisa Burns of Cape Coral, FL, and their spouses; her sister, Marie Matthews of Barrineau, SC; and two beloved grandchildren, Eli and Jackson Cong. She is preceded in death by her son, Shaun Michael Rogers; brothers: Levi, Junious and J.B. Parker; and sisters, Helen Bragg and JoAnn Mishowe.
