Juanita Karasko, 87, of Summerville, South Carolina, widow of Robert Paul Karasko entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 1, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, June 4, 2017 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., 2180 Greenridge Road, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 South Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner, SC. The family will receive friends Saturday in the Northwoods Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Juanita was born April 15, 1930 in Dallas, Texas, daughter of the late Parker Tupin and Louise Zeibel Tupin. Juanita had a deep passion for art and truly felt the happiest when she was painting. She has a series of 13 paintings depicting the crash of a WW2 B17 that occurred at an air show in Beaver County, PA. The paintings line the walls of the Air Heritage Museum in Beaver County, PA and is showcased in several Low Country galleries. She was a member of Deer Park Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Ramsey (Jeff) of Summerville, SC; Ruth Karasko of Daisy Town, PA; brother, Parker "Gene" Eugene Tupin of Delaware, NH; three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
