Joyce Waller Tidmore, 89, of Blairsville, Georgia, former long time resident of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Clearwater, FL, entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 21, 2019. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens.

Joyce was born November 28, 1929 in Wrightsville, Georgia, daughter of the late Benny Frank Waller and the late Ethel Downs Waller.

She is survived by her sister, Beni Sturcken of Blairsville, GA, two brothers, Jack Waller (Susan) of Alma, and Gerome Waller of Swainsboro, GA; step-daughter, Judy Owens; grandson, Patrick Roden (Vanessa); granddaughter, Elizabeth Gilbert (Ryan); great grandchildren, Robert Gilbert and Benjamin Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mabrey L. Tidmore, daughter, Sandra Lea Roden and son, Michael Alan Tidmore.
