Joyce Ann Halverson Jones, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014. The relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Joyce's Life at 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 1, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 2:00 pm until the time of the service.
Joyce was born June 16, 1927 in Stoughton, Wisconsin. She was a retired administrative assistant with the County of San Diego, California. In her spare time, she loved to read and spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Herndon of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and her brother and sister, Robert and Mary Halverson, both of Wisconsin.
