Joyce Ann Harter Hinson, 77, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Randal G. Hinson entered into eternal rest Friday, October 5, 2018. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 232 Calhoun Street. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in The Second Presbyterian Church, 342 Meeting Street at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Harter Cemetery, 185 Andrewharter Road, Fairfax, SC.

Joyce was born January 19, 1941 in Allendale County, South Carolina, daughter of the late Woodrow W. Harter and Hilma Connelly Harter. She graduated from Allendale High School and was a retired banquet server for Charleston Place Hotel. Joyce was a member of The Second Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Randy of Charleston; daughter, Carol A. Keigans of Johns Island, SC; son, Benjamin J. Rush IV of Johns Island, SC; sister, Frankie H. Hastings of Charleston, SC, brother, Woodrow W. Harter, Jr. of Fairfax, SC, three grandchildren: William David Keigans and Cheryl Ann Keigans, Breelyn Rush and one great-granddaughter, Eleanor Gray Keigans.
