Josiah Warren Fuller, 82, of Summerville, South Carolina, widower of Berneice Gardner Fuller entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 22, 2022.  His Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. NORTHWOODS Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Rd., North Charleston.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am until the time of service.  Interment will be at Beaufort National Cemetery at a later date.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Josiah was born July 15, 1940 in Baltimore, Maryland, son of the late Josiah W. Fuller and Margaret Schmitt Fuller.  He proudly served his country in the Maryland Army National Guard for 39 years.  He enlisted as a bright-eyed 17-year old and continued to serve until his retirement as a One-Star General.  He was a member of St. Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church.   

He is survived by his brother-in-law, David Berger (Joan) of Hilton Head Island, SC; Godson, David Diaz; nephews, David C. Berger, Steven Cochran and Christopher Cochran; one niece, Jean Lucas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
