Josette Suzane Koller

Josette Suzane Koller, 83, of Mount Pleasant, SC, wife of Louis Koller entered into eternal rest Wednesday March 3rd, 2021. Her Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 9th, 2021 in Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive at 10:00 am. The Rite of Committal will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Josette was born December 10, 1937 in Poitiers, France, daughter of the late Rene Franconi and Celestine Proust Franconi. Josette worked as a social worker with unwed mothers in Poitiers. In 1962 she married Louis who was serving in the US Army at the time. She immigrated to the US, and they settled in Flushing, New York. Together they had four sons to whom Josette was a wonderful mother. She cared for all living things. The children she helped raise as their nanny remained close to Josette even as they grew into adults. She cared for all animals, enjoyed tending to the many plants in her garden, and was an excellent cook. Josette touched many hearts and was loved by all.

She is survived by her husband Louis Koller; four sons Stephen Koller, Matthew Koller, Louis Koller, and Pierre Koller; her sister Micheline Morillion; and two granddaughters Aurelia and Lucy. She was preceded in death by her siblings Jacqueline, Giselle, Pierre, Rene, and twin sister Genevieve.
