Josephine Christine Cascio Schwarz, 82, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of John Scott Schwarz entered into eternal rest Monday, July 29, 2024. Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 1:00 pm. The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to service at 12 pm. 

Joyce was born January 7, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland, daughter of the late Paul P. Cascio and the late Lucy Porrovicchio Cascio. She enjoyed painting, sculpting, drawing, cooking, and singing. Joyce was an amazing mother, wife, sister, mother-in-law and Gabi to her grandchildren. Gabi will be remembered for how much she loved her family. 

She is survived by children, Wendy Dudley (Craig) of Littleton, CO, Stephen Schwarz (Kimberly) of Midlothian, VA and Laura Mallo (Joseph) of Stow, OH; grandchildren, Jack Dudley, Olivia Dudley, Avery Schwarz, Peyton Schwarz, and Brody Mallo; siblings, Mary Louise Gerlach of Baltimore, MD and Louis Cascio of Parkville, MD.
