Josephine Mary Lyons, 87, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Edward P. Lyons died Thursday, April 7, 2016. Her family will hold a Gathering of Friends Sunday, April 10, 2016 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place in Bethel Park, PA.

Josephine was born March 31, 1929 in Canton, Ohio, daughter of the late Alphonso Philip and Josephine Caroline Brown Tempert. She and Edward recently moved to Mt. Pleasant to be closer to family.

In addition to her husband of 65 years, Edward, she is survived by her children, Gary P. Lyons (Karin) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Karen Lyons of Waynesburg, PA, and Diann L. Clark (Dennis) of Goat Island, SC; eight grandchildren, Christian Lyons (Karen) of Hilliard, FL, Michelle Matheny (Dennis) of Goose Creek, SC, Rebekah Cuda (Dan) of Monogehala, PA, Colleen Deihl (Craig) of Charleston, SC, Casey Himel (Audrie) of Columbia, SC, Bridgett Donald (Paul) of Texas, Daniel Clark (Amber) of Hudson, WI, and Joseph Clark (Joyanna) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; thirteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
