Joseph "Jody" Isaac Williams, III died December 5, 2017, Port Royal, SC. He was born January 26, 1949, Charleston, SC. His funeral service will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Friday in the Downtown Chapel one hour prior to service.

Jody is survived by his wife, Alex Bota Williams; mother, Frances Culpepper Williams; his children: Kimbley (John), Elizabeth and Joseph Williams; one grandchild, Nathaniel; step-daughter, Theodora Cenan, and sister, Peggy Winter.

He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Isaac William, Jr.

Jody graduated from Rivers High School, class of 1967 and The Citadel, class of 1972. He was employed by The Charleston Fire Dept. and retired as a teacher after 26 years. Jody was a volunteer in many civic organizations.
