Joseph Peter White, Sr.

Joseph Peter White, Sr., 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Coralee Woodie White, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Funeral and committal services will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.
Joseph was born October 20, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Raymond V. White and Catherine Mullen White. He was a retired Field Engineering Division Executive with IBM and was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Savannah, Georgia. Joseph volunteered at Habitat for Humanity and belonged to The Landings Club in Savannah, GA.
He is survived by his wife, Coralee White of Charleston, SC, two daughters, Leigh Ann Black of Charleston, SC, Kimberly Joan White-Fredette (Peter) of Stockbridge, GA, a son, Joseph Peter White, Jr. (Lori Ferguson), of Leander, TX, two sisters, Sister Catherine Dolores White IHM of Immaculata, PA, Berenice Edele of Levittown, PA, and eight grandchildren, Scott Richard Black, Brian Joseph Black, Eric Matthew Black, Keith Andrew Black, Lindsey Eve Fredette, Cassandra Marie White-Fredette, Ethan Peter White-Fredette, and Dylan Taylor White. He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond V. White.
