Joseph Peter Savitski, aged 52, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly, on August 8, 2026, at MUSC Charleston in South Carolina. Born on September 13, 1973, in Oyster Bay, New York, to Jerome and Paulette Savitski, Joseph spent his youth on Long Island before earning a degree in English from Shippensburg University.

An enthusiastic fan of movies, comics, and animals, Joseph was known for his lively spirit and fondly remembered as "an accident waiting to happen," a trait that brought joy and unforgettable memories to those around him. Above all, Joseph loved his family deeply.

Joseph's generous nature extended beyond his lifetime as a registered organ donor, saving the lives of six individuals through his final gift.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Samantha Savitski, his beloved daughter, Chloe Savitski, and his in-laws, Wallace and Dru Cairns. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Heather Cairns, nephew Alexander Cairns, and treasured pets Logan, Mittens, Nico, Jasper, and Bunnicula.
