Joseph O'Hear Sanders

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of July 28, 2010, Joseph O'Hear Sanders, III, of John's Island, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mr. Sanders are invited to attend his graveside service at Bethany Cemetery, Charleston, SC, Saturday, July 31, 2010, at eleven o'clock.  Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.

Mr. Sanders was born on November 11, 1945 in Charleston, SC the son of Joseph O'Hear Sanders, Jr. and Elizabeth Tarrant Sanders.  He attended North Charleston High School and Porter Military Academy in Charleston.

He is survived by his sister, Josephine "Jo" and her husband Jerry L. Gowdy of Ridgeville, SC, and one brother-in-law, Rupert E. Drews of James Island.  Mr. Sanders is also survived by nieces and nephews: James B. Gowdy, Leann G. Dugger and husband Jeff (and their children, Allison Lee and Alan Thomas), Lynn Gowdy, Beth Drews Morehouse and husband Scott (and their daughter, Elizabeth Wagner and husband Kenny), and English Drews Geibner and husband Stephen.     He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Elizabeth "Bette" Drews.
