Joseph Lee Peagler, Sr., 87, of Moncks Corner, SC, husband of Jennie Headden Peagler, entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of December 14, 2011. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lee Peagler, Sr. are invited to attend his graveside inurnment service Sunday, December 18, 2011, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Moncks Corner, at 2:00 pm with Military Honors. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Born on September 30, 1924 in Cross, SC, Joseph was a son of the late Johnny and Senith Varner Peagler. He was a retired Barber, United States Air Force veteran, and member of the V.F.W.

Surviving are his wife, Jennie Peagler of Moncks Corner; two sons, Allen Peagler of Moncks Corner and Ronald Dean Peagler of Bonneau, SC; two daughters, Betty Peagler Wright and Pamela Lee Gaskins both of Bonneau, SC; a brother, Harold Peagler of Cross, SC; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Mr. Peagler was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Lee Peagler, Jr.
