Joseph Michael Lannutti

Joseph Michael Lannutti, 93, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 30, 2024. His graveside service with military honors will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 in the Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Joseph was born January 30, 1931 in Cedar Brook, New Jersey, born the youngest of six children to the late Mariano Lannutti and the late Mary DiLullo Lannutti.  After serving his country as a proud member of the United States Navy, Joseph returned to Pennsylvania to work in the Steel Mills. Joseph moved to the Lowcountry in 1961 where he started his career with the US Postal Service. He enjoyed bowling with his league in West Ashley, and will be remembered for his humor and the love he had for his family.  

He is survived by son, Joseph Michael Lannutti, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA; three daughters, Linda Greenwood of Jacksonville, FL, Diane Mauney (James Stevens) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Lisa Bertram; and three grandchildren, David Samuel Epps III, Taylor Elizabeth Epps, and August Lannutti. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Lannutti, and sons-in-law, Dr. Richard Greenwood, and Mark Bertram.
