Joseph Kenworthy Eddleman, Jr., 67, husband of Freda Eckles Eddleman of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012. The relatives and friends of Joseph Eddleman are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday, March 30, 2012 in Christ Episcopal Church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 29, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
Mr. Eddleman was born on June 30, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Joseph Kenworthy Eddleman, Sr. and Martha St. John Tourison Eddleman. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South
Carolina, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He has been a member of the South Carolina Bar Association since 1970. Joe was a highly decorated FBI Agent with 23 years of service. After his retirement, he worked as a realtor at Agent-Owned Realty and received the Realtor of Distinction Award from the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors.
He is survived by his wife, Freda Eckles Eddleman of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Sarah St. John Eddleman and Christina Eddleman Crews and her husband, Joshua Bradley Crews, all of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one sister, Joan Eddleman Finerty and her husband, Martin Joseph Finerty, of Annapolis, MD; one grandchild, William Tourison Crews of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and two nieces, Nancy Finerty Crutcher and Laura Tourison Finerty.
