Joseph Harold Burton, 88, of Kiawah Island, South Carolina, husband of Kathryn Sutton Burton entered into eternal rest Monday, October 13, 2014. His Graveside Service will be held Friday, October 17, 2014 in Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive at 11:00 am. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Joseph was born September 6, 1926 in Orleans, Indiana, son of the late J. Kent Burton and Georgia Carpenter Burton. He was a retired Vice President of Carpenter Body Works in Mitchell, Indiana, and a Past Grand Master of the Free and Accepted Masons of Indiana.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Burton of Kiawah Island, SC; daughter, Lynne Burton (Tripp Hays) of Charleston, SC; son, Brian Burton (Lori) of Ferndale, WA; two grandchildren, Andrew Burton and Joshua Burton.
