Joseph Bartone, 84, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Frances Jacqueline "Jackie" Massalou Bartone, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 21, 2026.

Joseph was born September 25, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Joseph Bartone and the late Sophie A. Bator Bartone. He will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, business savvy, love of family and friends and as a devoted husband. Everyday was an adventure and an opportunity to meet and help new people. His generous heart touched many.

In addition to his loving wife Jackie he is survived by children Tom Chason, Suzannah Chason, Anthony Bartone and Diane Bartone-Sarro. He was the most loving grandfather to his grandchildren J.P., Jackson, Laurel, Lillian, Joseph, Alexandra, Lydia, Jenelle, Jordyn, Anthony and Jack.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Anthony, sister Dorothy and sons Michael and Joseph.
