Jordan Patrick McDermott, 30, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 12, 2022. A private funeral service will be held at the graveside in Riverview Memorial Park. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.
Jordan was born December 3, 1991 in Charleston, South Carolina, the younger son of James Patrick McDermott and Katherine Moorer McDermott. He was a graduate of the Charleston County School of the Arts and College of Charleston. He worked in the restaurant industry for many years.
In addition to his parents, Jordan is survived by a brother, Chris McDermott (Melanie Chisholm) of Charleston; nephew and niece Logan and Madelyn McDermott, whom he adored dearly; maternal grandfather, Howard H. Moorer, Jr., of Charleston; a maternal aunt Barbara Teressa Moorer Howard of Wilmington, NC; maternal cousins Ryan Howard and Kyle Howard of Wilmington, NC; paternal aunts Mary Robinson (Greg) of Daniel Island, SC and Georgia Bowman of Summerville, SC; paternal uncles Rick McDermott (Derenda) of Lexington, SC and John McDermott (Ann) of Charleston, SC; and 15 beloved cousins.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
