Listen to Obituary

Jonathan Andrew Hair, a beloved son, brother, and friend, was born on May 31, 1990, in North Charleston, SC. He left this world unexpectedly on November 28, 2025, while in Monroe, NC. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and laughter that will resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.

Jonathan had a personality that lit up every room he entered. His brightest smile was matched only by his infectious laughter and great humor. He had the ability to inspire those around him while boosting their confidence and encouraging them to believe in themselves. Friends and family alike would attest to how he never missed an opportunity to make someone laugh, leaving a thoughtful impression on their lives.

As a devoted sports fan, Jonathan held a special place in his heart for the Tennessee Volunteers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. His love for these teams was unwavering, as he never missed watching a game. Though he had many achievements, he was most proud of his collection of shoes. They are a testament to his unique style and flair. Each pair was a reflection of his personality. Some of his favorite memories were made at Disney World, traveling through Europe, zip lining at Whistler, Canada, eating at his favorite Mexican restaurant, and gathering with his family on Holidays and special occasions. Jonathan was the happiest when he was surrounded by the Godly men that made an impression on his life. He had a passion for helping others overcome addiction by pointing them to Jesus.

Jonathan is survived by his mother, Tracy L. Johnson, father, John M. Hair and his second mother, Linda A. Hair; sisters: Madison L. Watson and her husband Joshua; Rachel L. Carter and her significant other Max Johnson and niece Olivia Jane Johnson; Grandparents: Hubert and Marla Hair, Rondi and Dallas Amidon, Jim and Carolyn Johnson and Billy and Shirley Altman; Aunts and Uncles, Jeff and Dorette Chilcote, Tami Poe, Erik Johnson, Kathy and Roy Eiss, Jimi Johnson, and David and Wendi Altman; and Cousins; Camille Snow and her husband Carlton, Eleanor Chilcote, Griffin Chilcote, Farrah Kugman, Preston Poe, Jacob Johnson, Elli Johnson, Tiffany Doxanas, and her husband Tom, Jeffrey Chilcote and his wife Anna, and Tyler Altman: step-father Antonio McShane. These loved ones were blessed to share in his journey and will carry forward his spirit and kindness.
