Jon was born April 1, 1966 in Gulfport, Mississippi, son of the late Joseph Clarence Reno and Joan Patrick. He faithfully served his country in the United States Navy and retired after 20 years of service. Following his retirement, Jon continued his work as a Technician, working for the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic. Above all things, Jon was a good family man. He absolutely adored his children and would do anything in the world for them. Jon was a man of the outdoors and loved to fish, hunt and go shrimping. Jon was a tinkerer and a fixer of all things. If he ever needed to figure out how to fix something, he would simply watch videos and teach himself. He was self-proclaimed, "YouTube Certified". Jon also loved watching movies on his home theater system, equipped with amazing surround sound, which he would crank to the highest decibels that would often "shake the house" with the bass levels!

He is survived by his loving wife; one daughter, Janessa Karin Daniels and her husband, Joseph, of Bloomington, MN; one son, Jon "LJ" Martin Reno; two brothers, Gene Reno of Gulfport, MS and Curtis Reno and his wife, Teresa, of Saucier, MS; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
