Johnathan Walker Capps, owner of John's Renovations, died Friday, July 9, 2010, in Charleston, S.C., as the result of a car accident. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at Palmetto Community Church, 1965 Bees Ferry Road, Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at seven o'clock. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the church from six until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross Low Country Chapter, 8085 Rivers Avenue, Suite F, North Charleston, SC 29406.
Johnathan was born in Charleston, S.C., December 30, 1976, the son of William Earl Capps and Joyce Ellen Bailey Lee. He attended local schools and graduated from Midlands Technical College. He was an avid fisherman, talented carpenter, enjoyed weight lifting, and taking Trevor to the beach.
Surviving are his father and his wife, Kate Capps of Charleston; his mother and her husband Victor E.Y. Lee of Spartanburg, SC; two sons, Johnathan Elijah Capps and Trevor, their mother Rosanna Tracy; sister, Kelly Morgan Capps; and three brothers, William Earl Capps, III, Andrew Bailey Capps, and Eric Scott Capps.
