John Paul Wilson

John Paul Wilson, Jr., 65, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, September 22, 2019. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park.

Paul, Jr., was born November 14, 1953 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Ruth Son Wilson and the late John Paul Wilson, Sr. He was a graduate of Chicora High School where he played baseball and basketball and he was a U. S. Air Force Veteran. He was employed with SCEandG from 1979-2002 and then Delta Pharmacy from 2003-2019. He was an avid fan of anything University of South Carolina and especially their football team along with the San Francisco 49ers.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth S. Wilson; two sons, John Paul Wilson, III (Monica) and Patrick W. Wilson (Carmen); grandchildren, Christian and Michael Wilson; two brothers, James J. Wilson (Irene), Frank J. Wilson (Barbara) and two nieces and a nephew.
