John Francis Vinesky, 42, suddenly passed away at his Charleston, SC home on Monday, April 22nd, 2013 in the company of his beloved dogs, Chavez and Joe. John was born in Cleveland, OH on September 25, 1970 Following graduation from the Naval Nuclear Power School he chose to live in Seattle, WA for nineteen years before accepting a position two years ago with SRC in South Carolina. He is survived by four siblings, Pam Vinesky of Seattle, Susan Zgodzinski (Paul) of Jackson Township, OH, Greg Vinesky of Jackson Township, OH and Mark Vinesky (Deborah) of Avon Lake, OH, along with nephew Alex Vinesky and nieces Jane and Grace Vinesky. John's parents, Lawrence and Joan Vinesky, preceded him in death.
John was an avid Grateful Dead enthusiast, Eastern European cook, raconteur, history buff, humorist and confident gentleman who adored his dogs. Those who knew John always smiled at the mention of his name. Laughter would follow him into the room. He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland's Slymans Corned Beef sandwiches and Stadium Mustard. During his Navy tour he traveled the world. Technology fascinated him.
Following cremation there will be a public memorial at a later date in Cleveland.
