Butch was born in Conway, SC, son of the late W.O. (Bill) Thomas, Jr. and Irma S. Thomas. He graduated from North Chas HS, attended the Citadel and retired as a car salesman. He was an avid golfer. Survived by sisters, Belinda Swindler (David) and Susan Martin (Randy); nieces, Miranda Ayer (Bryan), Kerri Olds (Chris); nephews: T.
