John Hubert Seiler

John H. Seiler, 76, of Charleston died December 17, 2018. A retired Army Master Sergeant, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Hermine (nee Ruff); children: Tina McCartney (Bill), Diana Gorman, Steven Seiler (Susan), Kevin Seiler (Heather); grandchildren: Scarlett Caldwell, Sean Rogers (Morgan), Brittany Homerston (Joel), Ashley Praete, Brandon Gorman, Courtney Graham (Daniel), Zachary Seiler, Matthew Seiler and Angela Jerome (Joey); great grandchildren: Skyler Homerston, Gracie Jerome, Lukas Simon, Carter Graham, Remi and Rhett Rogers.

The family requests memorials in his memory, in lieu of flowers, be made to the Fisher House Charleston, 150 Wentworth Street, Charleston, SC 29405.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Beaufort National Cemetery.
