John Robert Jones, 77, of Summerville, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, March 3, 2026. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel.
John was born May 19, 1948 in North Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Robert L. Jones and the late Lois M. Jones. A motorcycle enthusiast, John found true joy in riding, especially on his Gold Wing. He celebrated his love for motorcycles by attending bike week, where he connected with fellow riders and shared stories that brought laughter and camaraderie. John's adventurous spirit also led him to travel extensively, finding solace and inspiration in the mountains and along the sunny shores of Florida. In addition to his passion for motorcycles, John had an appreciation for shooting sports, further reflecting his zest for life and pursuit of new experiences. His interests were not merely hobbies but a way of living-embracing the thrill of exploration and the beauty of nature.
He is survived by family, Anne Fisher; children: Ted Luther Jones of Goose Creek, SC, Robert Jones, and Kerry Frith (Lynette) of Summerville, SC; grandchildren: Finley and Violet; brother, Billy Jones of Goose Creek; and many loved nieces and nephews.
