John Douglas Reimer

John Douglas Reimer, Jr., 74, of Goose Creek, SC, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, March 16, 2021. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 at J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 1:00 pm. The family will receive family and friends at Noon. Interment with military honors will be at Plantation Memorial Gardens.

John was born November 9, 1946 in Ridgewood, New York, son of John Douglas Reimer and the late Mary Josephine Rodewald Newcomb. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran with 21 years of service where he served as a flight engineer and retired as a Master Sergeant, a member of Peace Presbyterian Church, and was a member of Masonic Lodge 400 and Eastern Star.

He is survived by three daughters: Sandra Jean Infinger-Bennett (Rob) of Johns Island, SC, Glenda Faye Dame (Greg) of Goose Creek, SC, Susan Jean Parker of GA; brother, Tommy Newcomb of NY; six grandchildren: Joseph Parker, Stephen Parker, Tiffany Dame, Gregory Dame, Dillon Infinger, Dalton Infinger; and four great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jean Reimer.
