John Leslie "Les" Paul, Jr., 47, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 after a brief illness. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in St. Philip's Church, 142 Church Street at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street.

Les was born February 13, 1970 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of John Leslie Paul and Gaylord "Gail" Beebe Paul. He attended the College of Charleston and the University of South Carolina. He was an avid Gamecocks fan and outdoorsman. He was a waiter at Anson's Restaurant.

He is survived by his parents John and Gail of Mt. Pleasant; and brother, Mason C. Paul (Valerie) of Bozeman, MT.
