John Mark Newman

John M. Newman, 58, of Summerville, SC, died Saturday afternoon, October 9, 2010, at a local hospital.

Born November 10, 1951 in Elizabeth City, VA to John Montegue Newman and Opal Maxine Slusher Newman Kincaid.  He worked for Haddon House Foods as a sales representative.

Mr. Newman is survived by his wife of 12 years, Nancy Newman of Summerville; mother and step-father, Opal and Charles Kincaid of Norfolk, VA; three children, Jennifer Newman, Jonathan Newman and Jessica Newman, all of Norfolk, VA; a brother, Pat O'Bryan of Florida and granddaughter, Brooke Martin of Norfolk, VA. 

The memorial service will be held in Gospel Light Baptist Church, 8723 Salamander Road, Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at 11 AM.  There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Tuesday, October 12, 2010, between 6:00 and 8:00 PM.
