John R. Malloy

John (Jack) R. Malloy of Santee died Monday, September 6, 2010 at Roper St. Francis Hospital.  Mr. Malloy was born in Lakewood, OH, son of the late James P. Malloy and Catherine Barrett Malloy.  He was retired from ITT Corporation.  Mr. Malloy was an Army Air Force veteran of WWII.  He was a member of the B-26 Bomber Group, Europe and was awarded the Air Medal and Distinguished Flying Cross.  

Survivors include his wife, Etta Marie Malloy; daughters, Deborah Schweighauser of North Wales, PA, Jacquelyn Zeigler of Mobile, AL and Janine Malloy of James Island, SC; four grandchildren:  John Cole, Jennifer Schweighauser, Win Zeigler and Maggie Zeigler.

A private memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at J. HENRY STUHR, INC. downtown Charleston.
