John "Turk" LeFever, widower of Agnes LeFever, entered into eternal rest on December 28, 2011. Turk was born December 20, 1935 in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of George and Mary LeFever. After raising their family in Brooklyn, Turk and Agnes became longtime residents of Murrells Inlet, SC. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his reception on January 6th from 2pm - 6pm at Murrells Inlet Elk's Lodge 3816 Hwy 17 Business and memorial service on January 7th at 1:30 pm at St. Michael's R.C. Church.

Turk proudly served with the United States Marine Corps. He was a loyal member of Elks Lodge #2797, Moose Lodge #2351 and The American Legion Post #0178.

Turk was a loving father and grandfather. His legacy is survived by his four daughters and their families: Laurie LeFever and Vincent Sagona with granddaughter, Gabriela, Jackie and Bob Sprotte with grandchildren, Bobby, Kristen and Jake, Terri and Ward Doerschuck with granddaughter Jamie and Nicole LeFever and K.C. Hassouna.
